Comments on the meditation: My experience with the meditation was blissful. It allowed me to remove the cobwebs of thought that was hovering over my personal space from the previous week. It was freeing to my soul and upon completion of the exercise I felt rejuvenated.

What I enjoyed most was the opportunity to free another individual from their pain and suffering. This meditation exercise is similar to the Tonglen practice shared by the Buddhist, Pema Chodin. The premise behind the teaching is that we must have compassion for others before we can experience compassion for ourselves. The core of the practice is to breathe in another person's pain so that they can be well and experience more space in their heart so that they can begin to relax and heal.

This experience was not only empowering, it was an all knowing experience. I truly felt the recipient of this clearing meditation taking a sigh of relief. I could actually feel their heart expand and exhale from their stuckness, pain and relief from their suffering.

When directing the flow of energy from our stomach to my hands I immediately feel the tingling sensation that confirmed: Energy Follows Thought. I have spent many years practicing, and honing the appropriate positive, and pure energy of thought to flow where it has genuinely been directed.

This exercise promoted a deeper sense of relaxation and opened my thoughts to new ideas about how to assist others who desire relaxation and stress management.
